The challenge
The client needed smart locker integration, but embedding device orchestration inside a single business app would couple business logic to hardware, making every future integration a full rebuild.
Our solution
We designed an independent multi-tenant platform as a reusable control plane between any business system and physical locker hardware. Using MQTT for real-time communication, Raspberry Pi agents for device control, and webhooks for business system callbacks, the platform separates business logic from device orchestration completely.
The results
The platform now serves as reusable infrastructure across multiple business applications, with each new integration connecting through the same control plane instead of rebuilding hardware communication from scratch.
