The challenge
Merchants in Kuwait managed orders in their commerce platforms while Riders managed shipping externally. Each platform's architecture required a fundamentally different integration approach.
Our solution
We built two separate integrations: a Laravel-based embedded Shopify app using GraphQL Admin API and Shopify CLI, and a standalone WordPress plugin for WooCommerce with HPOS compatibility and Action Scheduler support. Both connect merchant order workflows to the Riders shipping API with real-time status sync.
The results
Both integrations are live in production, enabling Kuwait merchants on either platform to ship through Riders with automated order sync and shipping status updates.
