A multi-role food marketplace for the UAE market where restaurants list surplus dishes at discounted prices for customer pickup.
The challenge
UAE restaurants needed a way to reduce food waste by selling surplus dishes, while customers wanted access to quality food at lower prices, requiring a marketplace that handled multi-role workflows and payment splits.
Our solution
We built a modular Laravel marketplace with Stripe Connect for restaurant payouts, OneSignal for push notifications, and multi-role order workflows covering restaurant owners, customers, and platform administrators. The system handles menu management, scheduled pickup windows, and real-time order status.
The results
The platform delivered a complete marketplace solution with multi-role order workflows, automated payment splits via Stripe Connect, and push notification engagement.
